about the last step of making iced lemon tea

I don't know how do I say about the last step.

After you finish cutting a lemon into two. Take one half and cut it into think slices. Add two slices of lemon______ the glass. (The slices of lemon normally put it on top of the glass)


Iced lemon tea is a simple and delicious drink.

(i) Finally, add lots of ice cubes and two slices of lemon on the glass.

(ii) Finally, add lots of ice cubes and two slices of lemon slipped on / in the glass.
