About the incident - A fire

Can I say,

(a) There was a fire at Kampung Sena village last week. The wooden houses were destroyed. The villagers were very scared.

(b) They had no time to save their belongings. They were running in fear. Some (of them) screamed loudly for help.

(c) Luckily, the firemen arrived in their fire engines. They out out the fire quickly. They managed to save the villager's life. The fire was put out after an hour.
