about the dates

Hi native British speakers,

I understand the difference of writing a date between AmE and BrE. Do British write the date like the Americans

May 4, 2013 (Would a British write this and not consider it wrong grammatically?)

Thanks

In the UK we normally write '4 May, 2013' but many British people prefer to use the American form. We certainly don't consider it ungrammatical. Rover
