Hi, Anonymous I want to know if the sentence I didnt spoke to him is correct or I didnt speak to him is correct ? neither is correct. The second one (" I didnt speak to him ") is closer, but you need an apostrophe: " I didn't speak to him.

  • neither is correct.
  • The second one (" I didnt speak to him ") is closer, but you need an apostrophe: " I didn't speak to him.
  • " As for the first one (" I didnt spoke to him "), keep in mind that do/does/did and their negative forms ( don't/do not/doesn't/does not/didn't/did not ) must be followed by a bare infinitive (= infinitive form without " to ").
  • For instance, I spoke to him.
