About 'Seldom'

Hello everyone,I seldom see people use seldom in daily conversation. What are some of those more commonly used expression to say 'seldom'? Would you show me one or two examples?Thank you.

Probably the most common way of expressing the idea in conversation is 'not ... very often'. If the frequency of the action is low, we use 'rarely' or 'hardly ever'.

I'm not sure that I seldom hear that word.  I think I use it quite regularly, and I am not surprised when I come across it.
