About prepostion

Is it correct to say,

"I would like to change my table booking from 5 to 7 people." ----> is the preposition "from" here using correctly?

In my opinion, it's correct, but I personally would say,"from five people to seven people."

This distinguishes the usage from another one, "from A to Z," in which you're describing a range:

If you already have a previous reservation, the restaurant should have all the information. So if you just say "to 7 people", it's adequate. But if you want to be explicit, the above is fine.
