Hi
I have a question on the verb to plan.
When have you planned to buy him the car?
The speaker wants to the date when the car will be bought.
When do you plan to buy him car?
I see this format being used commonly. I think the speaker's intent is same as it is in the previous case, but the way the question is worded seems the speaker wants to know when the person will plan/decide to buy the car.
So, it is correct to word the question so?
