about parellelism

Shoppers are visiting retailers' websites, but they're also researching products through serch engines, opting into promotional emails, getting tips from friends and reading through promoted content on social media.

Here is the question.
'visiting, researching, opting, getting' These elements seems to be all connected to the last one ' reading'. Am I right?

Thanks in advance.

I don't know what you mean by 'connected'.

They are parallel in construction, though they are not all in the same construction; there are two clauses:

(1) ...are visiting
(2) ...but (they) are all
