3/4 = three fourths (also three quarters in British English) - three over four

I don’t think anybody would deliberately express a fraction as 3/2 or call it three halvesin real world. I can see where Optilang was coming from….

Regardless, in math class you'd say three halves or 3 over 2.

It depends on the context whether you'd automatically translate it or not.
