Can I say,

(a) They were going to celebrate Deepavali tomorrow. The next day, was Deepavali Day.

(b) Last Sunday was Deepavali Day.
(c) Last Sunday, it was Deepavali Day. / Last Sunday was Deepavali.

(d) Last Sunday, it was a sunny and fine day.
