About "my"

Hi,

How does one use "my" in this sentence? I have myself an answer, but I need to understand the usage better.

Example:

My aunt and uncle will visit us. OR My aunt and my uncle will visit us.

*When do we need to repeat the "my"?

Thanks,

MVB

There is no need to repeat "my" in this sentence. You especially don't need to repeat it when the things logically go together. Aunt and uncle, pen and paper, hat and gloves.
