About 'morning'

Hi, I've got a question.

Do you often say to someone you see at the start of a day, 'Morning, ....' instead of saying 'Good morning, ...'? Any advice would help. Thanks in advance.

It's been quite common in my experience. If it's someone to whom I'm not obliged to pay high respect, I'd probably clip it to "Mornin' ."

If it is someone you see every day, you probably would say, "Morning." It's more informal than saying, "Good morning." I would say it's 75% "Morning" and 25% "Good morning."
