About more than

Selamat Hari raya to all muslim.[Emotion: party!!!]

Migrant may not need information about more than one destination.

After preposition "about", is it correct to attach "more than"?

What is the part of speech of "more" here?

Thank you.

You are not attaching "more than" to "about". You are attaching it to "one". It goes with the following number to form a unit which can be used anywhere a number can be used.

more than one
more than five
more than 50
