I think you are looking for these:

cow > beef

calf > veal

pig > pork

sheep > mutton

lamb > lamb

The first four above are the result of French becoming the "sophisticated" language in England after 1066 and are the Anglicized versions of bœuf, veau, porc, mouton respectively. I cannot come up with other examples right now.

Hi Philip,

I think I misrepresent the question. It's about dog food. My next door neighboor asks me to help to put up the name tage for the products. They are dried. The only word I could find from dictionary was "Beef jerky". I understand jerky means dried and stripped animal meat.

Do you say

1. Chicken jerky / Chicken meat;

2. Ostrich jerky / Ostrich meat;

3. Pork jerky / Pork meat;

4. Lamb jerky / Lamb meat;

5. And the last one being Duck's breast / Duck breast, I don't know if I need Duck's or just Duck breast, and which should it go with jerky or meat?

Duck's breast meat / Duck's breast jerky

I didn't delete any of your words, and I don't see any sign of anyone else doing so. ^^

As to offending someone (and I don't see that you have), common sense is the best guideline.

^^ Adding an edit here. Upon second look, there are signs of automatic censorship [***] in your text, but I don't know what words were deleted. You could send me a personal message with the words written with spaces between each of the letters, and I'll tell you if and how those words are objectionable.
