About making a face clock

Can I say,

First, prepare the clock face using a plain paper plate which you can buy from a gift shop. Cut out twelve numbers from an old calendar and paste them onto the clock face.

Punch a hole at the end of each hand. Then, use a screwdriver to make a hole in the middle of the clock face.

Finally, push a pin through the hour and minute hands and attach them to the centre of the clock face. Now see whether you can turn the hands of the clock you have made.
