1. Somebody mentioned a word 'lumpen' the other day and I am wondering if this is used.
I know what it means but I don't think it's a common word.
She used the word to describe somebody who is doing nothing, useless, and helpless.
2. Somebody asked me if it's ok to say take down laundry as the opposite of hang (up or out) laundry (on the clothesline)
