Spend some time each day reading material that is not too difficult for you, and only look up the words in a dictionary when you can't guess at their meanings from context. Eventually, you will begin to see the same words again and again and you will almost automatically know what they mean because you've worked out their meanings from the different contexts you've seen them in.
