About Jacques - a sentence

Here are my options, please help me with the following sentence to make it better:

Jacques Prevert (the poet) shows on spaces of human happiness that are still possible, the ones that are constantly being jeopardized by provincials (narrow-minded), clerics, militants and politicians.

or is it maybe better:

Jacques Prevert leads us to the still possible paths of human happines, the ones constantly jeopardized by provincials, clerics, militants and politicians.

I would appreciate any help on how to make this sentence to sound good. Thanks!

I don't understand what you mean by "shows on spaces."
