About [ is ] [ does ] when we make a question

Hi everybody Emotion: smile
I want to ask
when we use is like a question .. and y can't we use [ does ] insted of it

eg ::

is he player ? .... y can't we say :: [ doe's he a player .?

Please use real words and not abbreviations like "y" in your posts.

The word "do" doesn't link nouns.

He is a player. Is he a player?
You would not say "He does a player" -- so you don't ask "Does he a player."
You could say "Does he play?" -- you use "to do" to ask questions about actions.
