About in which
There is a sentence I really don't get it regarding to how to use "in which".
The expertise on Pandas found here is a result of numerous successful trials in which researchers have been able to accumulate precious knowledge in regard to gene pool management and breeding methods.
The explanation of this book says that the sentence above is the one which connected/united the two sentences below.
1)The expertise on Pandas found here is a result of numerous successful trials.
2)Researchers have been able to accumulate precious knowledge in regard to gene pool management and breeding methods in numerous successful trials.
But how about this interpretation by me?
1)The expertise on Pandas found here is a result of numerous successful trials.
