Actually, you can say that.

Mark isn't at home today.

If Mark has just arrived home, then you will usually just say "Mark is home". (no "at" in this case)

In fact, "at home" is the only way you can say it.

Referring back to the original sentence, what I meant was, as a matter of fact, "at home" is the normal collocation.
I am fully aware that it is grammatical to say " honey I am home!".
