hi ,I have some questions please answer me when we use (  such as ) ?and when we write an essay  what we write in the introductions ?and the support paragraph it's just discuss one things ( one Problem ) or many things in one paragraph ?and how many paragraph in the essay should we write ?and thanks

Hi Lost Soul,

Here's the best advice I can give at this time, point by point:

1. To learn how any expression is used in English, just Google that expression and see what you come up with. Your own search will be more meaningful to you than any answer I could give from my limited memory.

2. The advice I give to my students on writing introductions is here: <<link removed - please consider registering and putting links to your site in your profile; they are not allowed here>>. It is good general advice that you can use most of the time.

3. EVERY paragraph should have one main idea. There are many ways you can support that main idea - you could give one example, or many; you could give one reason or many - it depends completely on the message you are trying to communicate.

4. The number of paragraphs depends on what you are trying to do. An email could easily be one paragraph. Five paragraphs is a common length for many essays - you can have a body, a conclusion, and three supporting paragraphs. Of course, twenty or more pages is also possible, it just depends on your purpose.
