If I say this ...
My brother, he went to highscool but then got bored of it. So he quit it. He worked for a year then he decided he wanted to give studies another try..
So this time he finished highschool.
Now to the question.
Can one say that my brother dropped out of school despite the fact he started it and redid it?

Facts:
1# Note that it's a year ago since that person finished school.
Issue:
If someone were to say "I gotten fatter since I went to school"
Naturally I would assume that the person meant s/he gotten fatter since they finished school (graduated).
