About crossshipment

Hi teaher,

Dear Joyce,

Re: wall mounting shelves ( should I use wall mounted shelves) in cross-shipment

My apologies.

The shipment meant for you was cross-shipped, partly because our forwarder had picked up the wrong package at their warehouse and put it straight on the flight that they thought the package was going to. I understand this shipment will be late for your customer as he/she ( they?) is probably to expect to the delivery of these shelves by Wednesday.

The forwarder company in the US agrees to pay for the freight acurred and they will send the shipment out on the first available flight to you.

I'll update you on the flight details.

Thank you for your understanding.

And Thank you for your help on this email

Hi Mister Micawber,

1. Do you say" This is a wall mounting piece" in any occasion?

2. The shipment meant for you was cross-shipped because our forwarder picked up the wrong package at their warehouse and put it on the wrong flight. (I'm a bit slow but do you mean "...our forwarder picked up the wrong package at their warehouse and put it

1-- I don't think so. Perhaps when you are describing its capabilities.

2-- (I'm a bit slow but do you mean "...our forwarder picked up the wrong package at their warehouse and put it on the wrong flight" Yes

Do I need to mention wrong flight?-- Yes )

HiMister Micawber,

Would you say, "It's a wall-mountable piece"? Or

It's for wall-mounting purposes. And certainly you wouldn't say, "It's a wall-mount bookshelf "

Thank you

"It's a wall-mountable piece"-- I could say that.
"It's a wall-mount (or wallmount) bookshelf"-- I could easily say this, too, especially if I were a carpenter or supplier.
