About celebration of Deepavali

Can I say,

(a) Today is Deepavali. It is also known as Festival of Lights. On Deepavali, Rani wakes up early at 7.00 a.m. She has an oil bath this morning.

(b) After having an oil bath, she puts on her new saree. Har family go to the temple and pray. She also visits her friends and relatives.

(c) At night, Rani's siblings light the oil lamps. Her friends go to her house to play. They paly sparklers too. They have a happy Deepavali
