about basketball

Could you tell me if the sentence are correct in terms of grammar and if they are natural?

Which is correct?
He is mad to have lost the game./ He is mad that he lost the game.

An opponent pushed the player and this was said
The player felt more contact than there was. There was barely a push.

Is 'looked upon as' the natural verbal phrase in this situation?
A defensive player shouldn't just be looked upon as someone who blocks shot. Defense is more than just blocking shots.

Is it natural to finish with 'to'?
The team is doing what they are supposed to.

Thank you in advance

1 - He is mad that he lost the game. 2 - It's okay. I would say "more contact than there actually was".

4 - It is very natural. In this case, however, my personal choice would be to use the full infinitive to do because without it, I feel it leaves the reader rather up in the air.
