They all mean roughly the same thing. Unlike the others, however, 'close to' is generally understood only to mean 'almost' (i.e. 'less than').

Yankee has already answered about the meaning. How about the register? I see "Around" as the most colloquial one and "Approximately" and "An estimated" as more formal.
