About a word "Mom"

Hello.
I am Japanese and studying English.
Could you help me about word "Mom"?
I watched an American drama and in the drama, a man said to a woman, "You're fired, Mom.".
But that woman didn’t look like his mom.
Does word "Mom" also have meaning of "an old lady"?
