Can I say,
Pei Ling was taking part in the singing contest. She was going to sing a song entitled "Reflection". She was in a panic.
When it was her turn, she walked to the / on stage. When she was on the stage, her mind suddenly got bank. She was scared.
She had forgotten the lyrics. She felt embarrassed at that moment. But she managed to finish her song at last.
