About a journey

Can I say,

(a) Last Sunday, it was sunny. On that day, Peter and his parents woke up early. They started their journey at 8.00 a.m. They went to their countryside to visit their grandparents.

(b) After some time, Peter saw a restaurant as they were passing by a town. He asked his father to stop for a meal.

(c) The restaurant served Western dishes. Peter ordered his favourite steak while his parents enjoyed spaghetti. They ordered some drinks to quench their thirst.
