About a family's visit in a park

Can I say,

LAst week, Mr and Mrs Lim went to the park with their children. It was a cheerful Sunday. They went there by taking a taxi.

They were strolling around the park. They then saw a papaya tree. A crow flew next to a papaya and started eating it.

When the crow flew away, there were two holes in the papaya. Amy looked very closely at the two holes. Later, they went back home happily.
