Abortion! The question of the century, we should be asking our self is, Should we perform abortions on demand or not allow abortion preformed at all. Some will argue that we do not have the right to perform abortions. That only God can make that decision. Other will argue that Women do have the right to receive an abortion when and where they want it.
I believe that abortions are wrong. Abortions on demand should be illegal and not allowed to be preformed. There are too many women in this world that want children, and they cannot have children them self’s. There are too many choice’s women can make without just getting rid of the baby. One such choice is to have the child, place it up for adoption. There is more than enough evidence that adoption does work. Other options are to make it mandatory 24-hour waiting period with allows a woman time to reflect about her decision to abort the pregnancy. Research also shows that women and teenage girls who are pregnant tend to have a lower suicide rate than women who are not pregnant. This suggests that the pregnancy will give the women something to live for. Other studies have shown that women and teenage girls, who have abortions, are ten times more

likely to have committed suicide than women and teenage girls who get abortions. Mother’s guilty feelings and despair because of the death over their unborn child causes many suicides.
Abortion should be legal; it just depends on a society’s values and goals. If the society does not allow abortions, then it will be allowing unwanted and unhealthy
children. They do not want to have the Government to interfere in making their own private decision. If are society believes it is a personal decision then we will have an outstanding health care for children and women, then abortion should be legal.
