"...abitrarily.."

'Nah I just put them in order abitrarily.'

Does this sound like a natural thing to say?

The context is that I'd written out several paragraphs on a topic with each paragraph dealing with one aspect on it then my teacher read through it asking me if the paragraphs were specifically arranged.

Thanks

It's 'arbitrarily', but no, it sounds a bit odd that way, since arbitrariness and order are somewhat antonymous. How about: 'No, I just put them in arbitrarily .

PeaceblinkfriendI just put them in order abitrarily.
I don't think your putting them in order was done arbitrarily. I think you put them in arbitrary order.

Thank you for your replies, Mister Micawber and Clive.

Hope she got the idea because I was definitely saying it abitrarily.
