"abide" or "abides"
Hello,
Please tell me if it is "abide" or "abides" (in this verse in the Bible). I think it would have been "abides" (with "s"). I wonder if I am wrong. Please help!
"Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide (???) in the vine; [...] (John 15:4 - King James Version).
