Abdomen, stomach

What is the difference between stomach, abdomen, belly? Probably the style. I need it for a text where a catheter is inserted into the stomach (or abdomen?) (side).

Thank you.

The stomach is the sack where food is digested. The abdomen is the midsection of the body which contains the stomach and other organs and is surrounded by the abdominal muscles. "Belly" is an informal word refers to the external area that bulges out in fat people.
