How do call those acronyms/abbreviations of the states in the US?
Come on, there's got to be a term for it right???????
Or just "abbreviations"???

I think he was asking what we call the abbreviations for the states.
e.g. washington = WA, New Jersey = NJ
I would assume abbreviation. It is certainly not an acronym

According to that site WA, CA, MN, TX, etc. are "postal codes", and things like "Mich.", "Conn." are "abbreviation
