Ab or abs workout

Hi, everyone. I'm reading an article titled "Ab Workouts for Real Bodies." I know nouns usually lose the "s" when used as adjectives before other nouns, but "Abs Workouts" sounds better to me. Would appreciate your input.

To me as well. In fact, it's the only way I've ever heard it said. Still, there is no reason why it can't be used in the singular (Ab) since, as you say, the usual pattern is with the singular in the case of a noun pre-modifier of another noun.
