I was sitting pondering at my desk (as I am wont to do on a Friday afternoon) and an aardvark wandered through my thoughts.
What I was wondering is - are there any other words in common English usage whose first 2 letters are the same (I can't think of any)? Is there a term for such a phenomenon?
Thanks in advance, and apologies if I have posted this in the wrong section.

There's also "Aaron" - it's a boy's name. I doubt that it's actually an English name, but it's fairly popular. Can't think of any other words used in English that begin with the same 2 letter.
In larger U.S. cities it is sometimes found that the name of a company will be Aardvark (plumbing, roofers, etc.), so that theirs will be the first one listed in the alphabetical listing of such in what we call the Yellow Pages.
