I can't find any correct answer. "C" seems reasonable but, the verb "have" muddles things up.

" I worked a great deal" is OK. "But, I have a great deal to do on monday" sounds odd. However, I'm not a native speaker.

"But, I have a great deal to do on monday" sounds odd.
I have a great deal to do on Monday is perfect English.
It means
I have a lot to do on Monday, which is also correct.
