A writing of my friend- after I peered at it, I think that you should help me correct it again

Topic: No field of study can advance significantly unless outsiders bring their knowledge and experience to that field of study. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Nothing can reach its fullest potential without being externally influenced. Similarly, a field of study can not rely only on its limited scope of understanding and experience to advance substantially. Personally, I uphold the conviction that knowledge and experience from outsiders is crucial to development in specific fields of study but extensive internal advancement does not necessitates the influence from outsides.

It goes without saying that an intimate relationship exist between one field of study and another. Advancements in outside fields provide the foundation and act as springboards for other fields of study, facilitating further development. As a result of this interconnectedness, depravity of external sources of knowledge will be a detriment to future advancements. Without mathematical equations and principles, physicists would not be able to calculate and formulized complicated theories which shaped today’s modern society.

Contrary to the proposed statement, fields of study have historically been able to advance substantially with little to no outside impact. As abundant as external resources may be, advancements in fields of study still depend heavily on the work of in-field professionals. It is their ability to breakdown and utilize knowledge and experience from other fields that facilitates significant development. For instance, simply knowing basic principles of biomechanics will not directly transfer to knowledge of physiology or kinesiology. Therefore, the work of professionals within the field is bound to a much greater effect than external influence. In addition, pioneers who initially kick started various fields of study had no external support. They depend mostly on their own observations and research in order to discover the fundamentals which established the field in the first place. Renowned geniuses namely Albert Einstein or Isaac Newton make no reference of external knowledge in their theories and their result stemmed from their dedication and personal scrutiny.

To sum up, fields of study are closely related and develop in accordance. However, to advance in each field does not necessitate the understanding of other fields. Instead, discernible development is the result of a blended approach.
