Hi AlpeheccaStars,

1. Does 'ragged', 'tattered', 'tatty' have to deal with 'torn', like a little rip?
2. Does 'worn' have the meaning of having a little rip?

Thanks

1. Does 'ragged', 'tattered', 'tatty' have to deal with 'torn', like a little rip? - Yes, tattered describes a flag that has been out in the wind for a very long time. Ragged is like torn-up clothing that you use to clean the car. I seldom see "tatty."

2. Does 'worn' have the meaning of having a little rip? Not necessarily.
