A word that I haven't fully understood after consulting the dictionary

I read an article about advertising, but I dont understand the word " resonate"

Could anyone help me explain the word " RESONATE" in the following sentence?

"So pitches that seem to simplify the world resonate more today than they did when we had more mental bandwidth."
