A word required for distorting photograps

Hi

These days, a lot can be done to photographs -- the head of a girl over the body of a bodybuilder, or the body of an animal with a human head.. Many people (I suppose with a lot of free time) are busy doing it.

I'd like to know if there's any verb for such an action. For example:

He's always busy _______________ photographs. [verb]

I don't find ______________ photos funny, so please don't email them to me again. [adjective]

Thanks,

Tom

I think there are many words relating to the different ways that you can doctor a photograph nowadays, Tom. Here are some brief guidelines from the rules of photo contests: Images must not have been digitally altered in any way other than necessary burning, dodging and cropping. Please keep digital manipulation such as cloning and compositing to a minimum; your photograph should faithfully represent the scene as you saw it.

I'd use 'manipulated' or 'doctored'.
