A word is required for a situation: dab? splash?

Hi

When we get a hair or a speck of dust in our eye, we wash it (sometimes by throwing/splashing a lot of water into it?) Could you please tell me an appropriate word for this action?

Are these OK?

Go and dab your eye with cold water.

Go and sprinkle your eye with cold water.

Go and splash a lot of water into your eye.

Thanks,

Tom
