I have to write a business letter. The situation is that they have offered me a gift on their cost and I am not able to pay off them or do something for them in exchange. I like to thank them and say that although I appreciate their offer I can't accept since I don't think we'll ever be able to repay them properly for their kindness. Please could you help me reply them in a nice way. It should be done professionally. Maybe something along the lines of this? ''Your offer is greatly appreciated. However, I fear that I cannot accept because I do not see I am in a position to repay your offer now or in the future. That being said, this act of kindness will not be forgotten.''

Thank you very much for your generous offer. I appreciate your kindness, but I must respectfully decline. I am very grateful at the notion of your offer, but I would feel too indebted
