The HSC has a wide range of career opportunities for Band 5 Children’s Nurses available now. Applications are welcome from Registered Nurses and Students who will qualify in 2018.

I saw the above on my Facebook. Please explain to me the use of indefinite article before "wide range of career opportunities..."
