a while ago

A while ago/a short time ago/Just now, A came to look for you. He wanted to talk to you about your project.

Is there any difference between the choices?
Thanks.

Hi N2G

To me, 'just now' would be far more recent than the other two (i.e. almost no time at all between 'came' and the present).
