A way to say this with less pronouns

I am writing a paper -- but I need to use fewer pronouns -- can you help me learn how?

1. As Michael turns to hug his new dad...

I understand I can change "his new dad" for Carl.

2. his blue slacks slip down and expose his plumber's crack.

a. As Michael turns to hug Carl, his blue slacks slip revealing a plumber's crack. ??

b. " ", his blue slacks slide down revealing a plumber's crack. ??

c. A plumber's crack i exposed when Michael hugs Carl. ??

I am at a loss here -- I also have more, so maybe there is some formula I can use?

thank you

The problem is that we do not know who 'his' is– Michael or Carl. You need to rewrite the sentences so that this information is clear, and I don't think you have done that. Please try again.
