a way that doesn't work

I always try to work out many plans for one problem, but some should be ruled out very soon, for which I find they are . and It's a waste of time to carry out a plan if it just doesn't applicable.

I want to use an idiom or idiomatic words to fill the blank.

although I do not work through with these methods,I have proved that they won't work,,like a way leading to nowhere or get me stucked in difficult situations .what's the idiom that fit my meaning?

THese plans are a dead end? There are a few other problems with your sentence other than this. No offence but are you sure you have the required ability in English to hire yourself out as a professional translator?

Hly,

You can start making yourself look MUCH better just by minimizing your typos and being more careful with your punctuation and spacing. And also capitalization!

Please make sure to always leave one space after the comma (but not before) and one or two spaces between two sentences (whichever, but be consistent). And please use a capital letter at the beginning of a sentence
