A wave of fury swept across him.

Hi

Would you say these lines are natural English? Any suggestions are welcome.

“I think you should do what the great wizard Romnal is asking you to do, my Majesty. That's the only way to escape his fury,” the old man said with his head firmly bowed. He knew his suggestion could put him in great trouble, even cost him his life.

The king could not believe his ears. A wave of fury swept across him. He was almost trembling with rage. But for some unknown reason, he remained quiet until the grappling emotions eased his mind and body.

“I always believed that you were a wise man—wise enough to give me the right advice when I needed some.” He said bitterly to his old advisor.

Thanks,

Tom
